More than a year and two core processors separate these two phones but then again the result is something that might surprise most of you. The difference IS big and there is a clear winner on this test. Actually everybody opens more than one application at the same time during the day.

I am with an iPhone 4s at the apple store, promenade temecula and I have the opportunity to play with an iPhone 4s.

It looks like the old iPhone 4 but it's way faster. The camera is faster and more clear in an environment that doesn't have direct sunlight. Running now real racing 2 which is amazing fast! Its like having a psp on hands. Only on samsung galaxy s2 i have seen something similar. Feels weird to blog from 2 different iphone generations!. I am running now metal storm and real racing, multitasking is smooth.

I tested Siri. I think it needs a lot of improvement despite the fact that the background noise of the people visiting apple store was extremely loud. In fact i am waiting for nice people called hackers to make Siri available to iphone 4. So i was more playing than really testing it at this point. Here is a small sample of the test:

After that i wanted to see how fast is the gaming with the new dual core processor and the 7x times better graphics on the new iphone 4s so i started playing with Metal Storm:

I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO, I would be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, that day has come.

I hereby resign as CEO of Apple. I would like to serve, if the Board sees fit, as Chairman of the Board, director and Apple employee.

As far as my successor goes, I strongly recommend that we execute our succession plan and name Tim Cook as CEO of Apple.

I believe Apple’s brightest and most innovative days are ahead of it. And I look forward to watching and contributing to its success in a new role.

Οταν έχεις μια επιχείρηση των πολλών πολλών δις ... λεγε με apple stores ... είναι σίγουρο ότι οι βασικές αρχες πωλήσεων σου και σημαντικές είναι και πρωτοποριακές και δεν δέχονται αμφισβήτηση [μέχρι αποδείξεως του αντιθέτου]. 

Οι παρακάτω είναι οι βασικές αρχές πωλήσεων της apple και καλό είναι να τα έχουμε υπ' όψιν:

 - Οι πωλητές ΔΕΝ ΠΩΛΟΥΝ! Απλά βοηθούν τους πελάτες!! 

 - Δουλειά σας είναι να καταλάβετε τις ανάγκες των πελατών σας, μερικές από τις οποίες δεν τις έχουν καταλάβει ακόμα. 

 - Τα αρχικα A.P.P.L.E , τα εξηγούν, στις πωλήσεις ώς εξής: 

         Α - Approach ... προσέγγισε τους πελάτες με ένα θερμό καλωσόρισμα 

         P - Probe politely ... απευθυνθείτε ευγενικά ώστε να καταλάβετε, τι θέλει ο πελάτης 

         P - Present a solution ..παρουσίαστε μια λύση που ο πελάτης μπορεί να αγοράσει ΣΗΜΕΡΑ. 

         L - Listen ... ακούστε προσεκτικά τα παράπονα και τις αμφιβολίες 

         E - End it well ... αποχαιρετίστε με ευγένεια και προσκαλέστε ξανά τον πελάτη 

 - Μειώστε τις απαντήσεις σας στους πελάτες, σε μικρές -λεκτικά- απαντήσεις! 

 - Οποιος πωλήτης αργεί 3 φορές μέσα σε 6 μήνες θεωρείται "καμμένος"! Αν όμως τους πρώτους 6 μήνες είσαι σωστός, τότε τους επόμενους μπορείς να αργήσεις 6 φορές!! 

 - Οι πωλητές ενθαρύνονται να πωλούν apple care [εδώ να πω ότι μου έκανε εντύπωση ότι το apple care ΔΕΝ διατίθεται στην πολιτεία της Florida!!!!] 

 - H εκπαίδευση πάνω στα apple προϊόντα της apple διαρκεί μια βδομάδα, 40 ώρες και προτιμούνται άτομα που είναι ήδη πιστά στην apple και την φιλοσοφία της ώστε να πιστεύουν σε αυτή! 

 - Εχουν εντολή να μην διορθώνουν συνεχώς τους πελάτες όταν δεν προφέρουν σωστά τα προϊόντα της Apple! 

 - Οι αμοιβές του προσωπικού κυμαίνονται από 9-15 δολ την ώρα για τους πωλητές και 30 δολ την ώρα για τους Genius Bar employees. 

 Για το τέλος αφήνουμε το κερασάκι ... ο Steve Jobs συμμετέχει πολύ στην λειτουργία των Apple Stores. 

Μια και γενικά η apple δεν επιτρέπει να μεταφερθούν live με βίντεο όσα θα ανακοινωθούν σήμερα στο San Francisco, στο ετήσιο συνέδριο της ... θα παρακολουθήσουμε παρέα ότι καινούργιο βγαίνει ... 

Υπάρχουν μερικά Macbοok για αρχή και έτοιμα για παρουσίαση...

Το νέο λειτουργικό της Apple λέγεται Lion...

Πάμε πλέον σε καθαρά full screen applications [και εδώ είναι φανερό ότι πλεονέκτημα έχουν τα tablet]

To νέο χαρακτηριστικό ακουει στο Mission Control και είναι Expose και Spaces μαζί.

Εχουν κάνει πολύ δουλειά πάνω στο να είναι όσο πιο απλή, απαλή η διαδικασία εναλλαγής από πρόγραμμα σε πρόγραμμα και όλα τα επιμέρους προγράμματα που είναι default στο apple OSX Lion έχουν βελτιωθεί.

Oi top εταιρείες πωλήσεων σε προγράμματα

Μπορείς να αγοράζεις προγράμματα μέσα από το Lion πλέον. Είναι ενσωματωμένη δυνατότητα.

Βελτώνονται οι διαδικασίες Resume [ήταν ήδη πολύ καλές, απλά πλέον σε επαναφέρει ακριβώς εκεί που ήσουν πριν κλείσει ο υπολογιστής, windows places, spaces] και Auto Save που πλέον γίνεται αυτόματα χωρίς να κάνεις κάποια επέμβαση!


To Air Drop είναι μια διαδικασία που μπορείς πολύ εύκολα να διαμοιράζεις αρχεία μέσα στο δίκτυο σου. Peer to Peer Sharing υποστήριξη μέσα στο λειτουργικό της apple!

Αυτό που φαίνεται περισσότερο είναι ότι η apple όπως και η Microsoft πάνε πιο πολύ σε προγράμματα που είναι tablet - oriented.


Δεν θα βγαίνει σε CD! Το αγοράζεις από το Mac Apple Store!!! Θα είναι διαθέσιμο τον ιούλιο.



Υπάρχουν πλέον μια σειρά αλλαγων στον mobile safari που περιλαμβάνουν tabbed browsing με εναλλαγες παραθύρων απλά με ένα tap, Read it later επιλογή, φυσική ενσωμάτωση του ... twitt it, email μιας διεύθυνσης αλλά και του περιεχομένου.


Νεο Reminders για καλύτερη οργάνωση των προσεχών σας υποχρεώσεων.


Υπάρχει πλέον κάμερα button στο lock screen.

Πολλές αλλαγες στο πρόγραμμα που χειρίζεται την κάμερα.

Draggable Addresses, μπορείς πλέον να κάνεις drag n drop μια διεύθυνση που σε ενδιαφέρει. Το νέο mail έχει πολλές αλλαγές: built in dictionary, search entire message, flag messages,.


PC FREE: software updates over the air.

The Game center is now a fact και οι 50 μυρια χρήστες του μπορουν να κατεβάζουν και να αγοράζουν παιχνίδια απ ευθείας από εκεί.


Νέο iMessage που μπορεί να λειτουργεί ανάμεσα σε ipad, iphone, ipod, ipod touch. Υποστηρίζει και group messaging! Υπάρχει πλέον αυτόματη ειδοποίηση αν παραληφθεί κάποιο μύνημα από μια άλλη συσκευή. Δουλεύει και με wi-fi και με 3G.

Airplay mirroring ...  είναι το νέο χαρακτηριστικό που επιτρέπει να κάνεις ασύρματα mirroring το ipad σε τηλεόραση.

O λόγος πλέον είναι στα χείλη του Steve Jobs και μιλάει για το iCloud. Αυτόματη διάθεση των αρχείων σας σε όλες τις συσκευές apple που διαθέτετε και έχουν δυνατότητα δικτύωσης. Το MobileMe είναι ξαναγραμμένο για να υποστηρίζει το icloud. To calendar πλέον είναι σε θέση να ενημερώσει όλες τις εφαρμογές.

Γενικά όλες οι βασικές εφαρμογές της Apple πλέον είναι iCloud και μπορουν να διαμοιράζουν αρχεία, βιβλία, μουσική και δεδομένα ακόμα και χωρίς την παρουσία υπολογιστή οδηγώντας έτσι σε gadget era χωρίς την απαίτηση υπολογιστή.

Υπάρχει πλέον photo stream για το Apple tv! Οι photo που ανεβαίνουν στο iCloud θα μπορούν να αποθηκεύονται για 30 μέρες και μέχρι 1000... οι 1000 τελευταίες.


Το itunes match που ανακοινώθηκε είναι μια διαδικασία αναβάθμισης της ποιότητας των τραγουδιών που έχετε σε 256 kbps χωρίς κλειδώματα DRM. Με $24,99 το χρόνο.
